“Songs for the Children of Asaph” is a spiral bound song book containing a collection of songs (and one poem) written by Curtis Hollembeak.

Having been a church music director and Christian school music teacher for over 30 years, I have had plenty of opportunities to create music for my choirs and children’s classes. Other songs were written for personal enjoyment, or as an outgrowth of spiritual truths the Holy Spirit was teaching me at the time. This book is a collection of these songs.

You will find included here songs for children’s choirs, songs for Christmas, wedding music, and songs and choruses with a mission’s emphasis. Some are Scripture songs, while others are just plain Christian fun songs. Some are instructional in nature, while others are deeply devotional and introspective. Many songs were written with specific singers or groups in mind. All were written from a deep appreciation for the truths of God’s Word.

My hope and prayer is that many church musicians and teachers will find this songbook useful in their own ministries.
